Alice Masago

Alice Masago is from Belo Horizonte/MG from Minas Gerais and resident in Santa Luzia/MG, graduated in Visual Arts at UFMG, she is an illustrator, writer and graphic artist. In 2015 it launched its first booklet "A tenderness for the opposite" through the label Mil Folhas and in 2017, independently, it published the Carrier Pigeon Manual.

 

In 2019, she was one of those selected for the 10th Ibero América Ilustra Catalog, having her drawings exhibited at the Guadalajara International Book Fair, that same year.

 

He also illustrated the book "Carlota's Discovery" by Renata Maria Safe, published in June 2021 by Editora Aletria.

His poetics comes from the apprehension of everyday details, where drawing and writing come together so that narratives can happen. Passionate about illustration, poetry and comic books, she seeks to create a similar universe within her stories, with characters who gain a voice to help her talk about what she feels. Believing that drawing and writing expands the sheets of paper, but also life.
